Kết hợp giao thức truyền tin TCP-VEGAS và giao thức định tuyến DSR để nâng cao hiệu suất truyền tin trên mạng mobile AD-HOC

Mạng tùy biến di động (Mobile Ad hoc Network - MANET) là một mạng không dây đặc biệt, với ưu điểm là khả năng hoạt động độc lập không phụ thuộc vào cơ sở hạ tầng mạng cố định, chi phí thấp, triển khai nhanh và tính di động cao. Để nâng cao hiệu suất truyền tin trên mạng Mobile Ad-hoc, ngoài sự cải tiến các giao thức truyền tin và giao thức định tuyến, sự kết hợp giao thức định tuyến với giao thức truyền tin giúp nâng cao thông lượng của mạng Mobile Ad-hoc. Bài báo đánh giá sự khác biệt hiệu suất của giao thức truyền tin TCP-Vegas và giao thức định tuyến DSR trên mạng Mobile Ad-hoc dựa trên các thông số: Tỷ lệ phát gói tin thành công, thông lượng, tỷ lệ rơi gói tin và độ trễ trung bình End-To-End. Kết quả mô phỏng trên phần mềm NS-2 cho thấy khi kết hợp giao thức truyền tin TCP-Vegas với giao thức định tuyến DSR có cơ chế điều khiển kích thước cửa sổ phát theo RTTs đã thực hiện tốt hơn so với khi kết hợp với giao thức định tuyến DSDV và giao thức định tuyến AODV. Simulation results on NS-2 software show that combining the TCP-Vegas communication protocol with the DSR routing protocol with a mechanism to control the size of the transmission window according to RTTs performed better than when combining with routing protocol DSDV and routing protocol AODV
