Than đóng vai trò quan trọng trong sự phát triển của nền kinh tế Việt Nam, là tài nguyên năng lượng không tái tạo, một trong ba trụ cột chính (cùng với Dầu khí và Điện) trong chính sách an ninh năng lượng quốc gia của Việt Nam. Tuy nhiên công nghiệp khai thác, chế biến, sử dụng than là ngành có nhiều tác động tiêu cực đến môi trường. Một trong những nhiệm vụ quan trọng trong vấn đề xử lý môi trường của Tập đoàn Than – Khoáng sản Việt Nam trong quá trình thực hiện Chiến lược phát triển ngành công nghiệp than Việt Nam đến năm 2030, tầm nhìn đến năm 2045 đó là xử lý nước thải mỏ để tái sử dụng trong sản xuất và sinh hoạt. Để thực hiện nhiệm vụ đó, trong thời gian qua ngành than đã không ngừng đổi mới công nghệ cũng như nâng công suất các trạm xử lý nước thải nhằm xử lý tối đa lượng nước thải trong quá trình khai thác mỏ cũng như quản lý, giám sát chặt chẽ nguồn nước thải sau khi xử lý, bảo đảm đạt quy chuẩn môi trường trước khi xả thải. ABSTRACT:
Coal is a nonrenewable energy resource and one of the three primary pillars (together with oil, gas, and electricity) of Vietnam's national energy security policy. It plays a crucial role in the development of Vietnam's economy. One of the important tasks in environmental treatment of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Group in the process of implementing the Strategy for the development of Vietnam's coal industry to 2030, with a vision to 2045 is to treat mine wastewater for reuse in production and daily life. In order to accomplish that task, in the past time, the coal industry has constantly innovated technology as well as increased the capacity of wastewater treatment stations in order to maximize the amount of wastewater in the mining process as well as management, closely monitor the source of wastewater after treatment, to ensure it meets environmental standards before discharging.
